Multi-Switch
Tracks the active choice from a list you've named. The module shows one output per choice, and the front desk changes state without opening the editor.

How it works
An ordinary switch has only two positions. A multi-switch carries as many as you declare, each with its own label: "Open," "Closed," "Public holiday," "On-call team." Only one choice is active at a time.
The module doesn't create this list, it reads it. The Create a multi-switch page, in the Modules group, describes the screen where the list is created and where the active choice is changed. Once the multi-switch is designated in Selected switch:, the module shows one output per label, labeled accordingly. You connect each one to the journey it corresponds to.
On a call, the platform reads the active choice and takes that choice's output. If that output isn't connected to anything, the call is hung up on the spot, with no announcement. The same thing happens when no choice has ever been made active: no output matches, and the call stops there.

Step by step
- First create the multi-switch and its labels on the Create a multi-switch page, in Modules.
- In the plan editor, place the Multi-Switch module and connect the previous node to its input.
- Open it and designate your multi-switch in Selected switch:.
- Close the window. The module now shows one output per choice, carrying its label.
- Connect all the outputs, including the ones for rare cases: an unconnected output hangs up calls the day that choice becomes active.
- Click Apply changes.
- Make a choice active, call the number that enters this plan, check the branch that's taken, then change the choice and call back.
If it doesn't work
The module shows no output. No multi-switch is designated in Selected switch:, or the one that is has no labels yet. Outputs are calculated from the list of choices.
The call is hung up as it passes through the module. The active choice's output isn't connected to anything, or no choice has ever been made active. Connect all the outputs, then check the current state from Modules, Create a multi-switch.
I added a choice and calls are dropping. The output created for this new label isn't connected to anything. Connect it, then click Apply changes.
I can't find my multi-switch in the module's list. It hasn't been created yet, or it was created after the editor was opened. Create it in Modules, Create a multi-switch, then reopen the plan editor.
