Describe your greeting and let AI draw the plan

Describe your phone greeting: the assistant draws the matching dial plan in the editor, for you to review before saving.

How it works

Your description is sent along with the plan currently shown in the editor. This is what lets you work by making small adjustments: when a plan is already there, the assistant produces only the requested changes and keeps the IDs and positions of the existing modules, instead of redrawing everything.

The assistant does not invent resources. It only uses sounds, queues, voicemail boxes, groups, conferences, switches, trunks and Odoo instances that are already set up for you, referred to by their exact name. If something is missing, it still builds the flow and flags it in its summary.

Three modules are never produced: Switch / Case, Multi-Switch and Dispatcher. Their outputs carry IDs created by the editor, which a text description cannot guess. Add them by hand if your flow needs them.

If the assistant judges it better to start over from a new plan when a plan was already displayed, it does not erase it silently: a Replace the plan? window compares the number of nodes before and after, and offers three options.

With create missing sounds (AI voice) checked, missing announcements are generated by voice synthesis, attached to the module that plays them, and their names are listed in the result message.

Step by step

  1. Open the plan's visual editor.
  2. Click the AI button in the top bar. The Describe the flow: box appears.
  3. Write your greeting in simple sentences. State the hours, what the menu offers, and where each key goes. For example: during the day, a menu with 1 for the sales queue, 2 for support, otherwise voicemail; in the evening, a closing announcement followed by voicemail.
  4. Check create missing sounds (AI voice) if you want the announcements you mentioned to be generated.
  5. Click Generate with AI, or press Ctrl + Enter. The button becomes disabled and the screen shows that generation is in progress.
  6. Read the result message: the summary of what was built, the sounds created or still to create, and the warnings.
  7. If the Replace the plan? window opens, choose between replace, add detached, and cancel.
  8. Review the diagram module by module and correct by hand whatever needs it.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Check: call the number that enters this plan.

If it doesn't work

"Generation failed," followed by "Rephrase and try again." The request did not succeed. Rewrite it in more concrete terms, naming the resources exactly as they are called in your setup.

The message flags a sound I don't have. The assistant only uses sounds that are already set up. Check create missing sounds (AI voice) and try again, or create the message in Audio messages, then attach it to the module by hand.

A warning says to connect both outputs of the time condition. A Time condition module with only one output connected is ignored. Connect the "within hours" output and the "outside hours" output.

I had moved my modules with the mouse and everything shifted. Positions are kept when the assistant works by making small adjustments. If the Replace the plan? window opened and you chose Replace, a new plan was drawn instead: try again with Add detached, or reopen the previous version through the plan's backups.

I wanted a Multi-Switch and there isn't one. This module, like Switch / Case and Dispatcher, is never produced by the assistant. Add it yourself in the editor, then connect its outputs.
